Manufacturing Performance Days Stands Out as a CEO-level Leadership Summit

Since its inception in 2007, Manufacturing Performance Days (MPD) has been built as a high-level forum for the manufacturing industry’s top decision makers. Participant data from MPD 2025 further confirms the event’s unique positioning as a leadership-focused, invitation-only summit.

In 2025, MPD gathered approximately 700 participants, with a strong concentration of senior leadership. One quarter (24 percent) of attendees represented CEOs, Presidents, Partners, Board Members or Vice Presidents, underscoring MPD’s role as a true executive-level event. In addition, 21 percent of participants represented director-level positions, meaning that almost half of the audience consisted of the highest decision-making roles within their organizations.

The leadership profile is further strengthened by manager-level professionals (24 percent) and engineers, experts and senior professionals (22 percent), ensuring that strategic discussions are grounded in deep industrial expertise. Academic and research leaders (8 percent), together with public and third-sector representatives, complete a carefully balanced audience that supports long-term industrial development.

This combination of executive authority and domain expertise creates a distinctive environment where strategic decisions, future-oriented perspectives and peer-level dialogue can take place. Unlike open industry conferences, MPD is designed to foster meaningful conversations among leaders who are directly responsible for shaping the future of manufacturing.

While many large industrial events attract broad professional audiences, publicly available participant data from comparable manufacturing conferences rarely shows a similarly high share of CEOs and board-level executives. MPD’s leadership profile is based on verified participant information collected by the event organizer, making it a defining characteristic of the summit.

With a history spanning nearly two decades, MPD continues to serve as a trusted meeting place for those leading manufacturing transformation. The next edition of Manufacturing Performance Days will take place on 9–10 June 2027 in Tampere, once again bringing together the industry’s most influential decision makers.
